Dociya is built around a simple promise: your documents are yours. This page summarizes how we handle them. It is informational and not legal advice.
Masked by default
Sensitive values (ID numbers, policy numbers) are masked everywhere until you explicitly reveal them with a passkey or password. Reveals are time-boxed and recorded in an audit log you can read.
You approve every action
Dociya prepares renewals and reminders for your approval. It never submits a form, makes a payment, or shares a document without your explicit confirmation.
Minimal exposure
No sensitive values appear in URLs. Files are uploaded directly to encrypted storage over short-lived signed links and are never cached to disk beyond your session.
Your data rights
You can export everything or delete your household at any time from Account → Data rights. Deletion revokes all sessions and erases your records.
